A Practical Reading System for Busy Professionals

Reading more is not automatically the same as learning more. A practical reading system turns a book into a sequence of decisions, experiments, and conversations.nnBefore you begin, write down the question you want the book to help you answer. While reading, capture only three kinds of notes: a useful idea, a point you disagree with, and an action worth testing.nnAt the end of each session, explain the main idea in your own words. Then choose one visible, measurable action to try within the next seven days. A good reading practice is not a race through pages; it is a way to convert borrowed insight into owned judgement.
